Iterate.
Iterate some more.
Repeat.
Few things would seem more daunting than designing for a typography house. The excitement was there, of course, but we knew from the outset that the bar was going to be high. We were going to be designing for a design team who produced typography for more designers. In other words, for designers, by designers, for designers.
Any anxiety was short-lived, though, as we had to jump right in and select some fonts. From there, we worked collaboratively with the team to develop the overall aesthetic and iterated extensively to hone the site’s purpose and flow.

Regardless of medium, layout is very important to the Type Together team. Mobile optimization was a primary motivation behind the new site, but they wanted to push further than simple responsive patterns. Design for every device needed to appear intentional.
There's a lot to an effort like this, and if you’d like to hear more, you can listen to us discuss the site launch on the Responsive Web Design podcast.

Custom approach from
start to finish.
Not only is the new site a great showcase of all that Type Together has to offer, it’s a transactional tool as well.
We worked closely with the team to create a seamless shopping cart and checkout process as well. But don’t take our word on it, go buy something. It’ll make you feel good.
Everyone wins.
